We are a coalition of Riverton residents who believe in smart, sustainable growth that respects our community's character.

"Riverton United" was formed to move beyond single-issue fights and unite residents from all over our city who share a common goal: ensuring that Riverton's future is shaped by its residents, not by speculator interests.

We are professionals, parents, and long-time residents who have seen a troubling trend of development proposals that seek to bypass our city's established rules. Time and again, developers request major concessions, exceptions, and zoning changes that contradict the Riverton General Plan—a plan written with extensive community input.

Our group believes in fighting these issues on policy, not feelings. We research the municipal code, analyze staff reports, and present fact-based arguments to the Planning Commission and City Council. Our goal is to hold our elected officials accountable to the very laws they were elected to uphold.
